Malmö, February 20 2012
The Technical University of Łódż, Poland and Ortelius Management of Malmö, Sweden with pride, announce their decision, as forerunners of organizational, management and information innovations, to initiate a comprehensive scheme of collaboration.
The joint effort will center upon Ortelius’ unique methodology and its proprietary product suite inorigo®.
“The Faculty of Organization & Management, along with selected key Professors from Information Technology, were each invited to study and examine Ortelius’ proffered innovation – the Enterprise Evolution Framework (that improves on every organization’s ‘business’ development process). We are persuaded that the future of Competitive Advantage and overall business success will soon rely heavily on the type of continuous improvement methodology developed by Ortelius – it is beyond the abilities of Lean, SixSigma and other concepts practiced today – Ortelius exceeds expectations and we wish to be first in preparing students for this brave, challenging new business reality” Dean, Dr. Ryszard Grądzki.
Within the recent past several months, Ortelius has gained notoriety by being awarded 1 of Top 100 Innovative Firms in Europe 2011 organized through the Red Herring Group and receipt of the prestigious 2011 European Business Award for Innovation. Red Herring further granted special credit to Ortelius during its 2011 Global Competition held in Los Angeles, California, USA in December 2011. Also notably, Ortelius began its journey within the Gartner Framework in the beginning of 2012.
“In the thematic communities wherein big ideas are created and promoted, Łódż Technical University has long held a recognizable presence. It is an honor for Ortelius to become more closely associated with this renowned Institution and their four national and twelve international partnering schools of higher learning – it is humbling to have our work be acknowledged by introducing it as part of a Curriculum and deeply satisfying to educate prospective business leaders in our innovation. We have been observing and have studied ‘new’ Europe opportunities – Ortelius, along with many other masterfully operated global companies have determined to locate their headquarters for continental Europe in Poland, due to the many meritorious and substantive benefits available for forward thinking businesses. CEO, Ulf Jensen.
The Technical University of Łódż, Poland and Ortelius Management of Malmö, Sweden shall certify post doctoral candidates as co-lecturers, develop post graduate curriculum, mutually host conferences & workshops for academia-innovation clusters-businesses and jointly engage in European Union initiatives.
