The unique CPR to capture, unify and refine the real business needs

The introduction of a new product management system (PDM), at a leading manufacturer of packaging materials, were constrained by the large amount of product combinations and scattered information in many different data sources. There was no reference to the combinations that were valid and which sources contained the correct information. In addition, there was a lack of a common basic structure (information structure) with the ability to describe the company’s real Product model. Ortelius made an in-depth product structure analysis, which served as the decision and configuration reference for the continued introduction of the PDM system.
