Situation
The customer was crunching under a vast amount of Product & Service variants to different market segments and was lacking control of which ones where profitable. In parallel the processes and supporting systems for configuration of new variants, and bundles, where to slow and costly and could not excel on reuse.
Ortelius way of solving the situation started with the establishment of a sustainable product and service structure. The next step was to implement processes and tools for Product & Service Portfolio Management. With step one and two in place it was possible to implement and manage financial planning and monitoring capabilities.
