Information in motion

Today we are, generally, very efficient at collecting all kinds of information. We organize information generally less successful, and create situations where data are too locked in the different systems. We also too often lack means to make sense of the information. Sometimes it can even be a technical impossibility because of the information system requirements. How can these questions be answered quickly if not immediately? We are good at measuring and collecting data. How is it that we have not maintained a way to understand and communicate those findings and the insights that come with them? Ortelius way to organize information create the conditions to visualize it with new opportunities.

We are accustomed to regard the data as something static that we can analyze in peace and quiet, but data and information are moving targets. Ortelius create representations of data that changes every minute, day or week. This is necessary because the data comes from the reality in which there is seldom absolute. The temperature change, the trains are late, product affects the rules for marketing and sales, support and production. Everything is in constant motion around us.
